  11. I am a visitor in this news group.  I have an open mind
  12. regarding many things but do not necessarily believe
  13. in ghosts.  I also found many colorful reprotings in the
  14. newsgroup.  Here's one for you to consider:

  16. I have a house which is about 8-10 years old.  Since day one
  17. I have been experiencing a strange phenomina and that is
  18. different lights at different times of the day/night get
  19. turned on by themselves.
  20.  
  21. The most interesting occurance was one night at about
  22. 3:00 AM., I was sleepless and watching TV in my bedroom.
  23. I have sliding glass doors on one side and some outdoor
  24. lights that shoot into the back yard and have switches
  25. from both inside and outside to turn them off/on.

  27. Suddenly, the light turned on.  I got off, pressed the
  28. switch from inside and went back to bed.  It took
  29. long enough for me to make it back to bed and it turned
  30. on again.  I did this several times and finally gave
  31. up.  The light burnt all night long.  It sounded like
  32. it had turned into a game!!!

  34. This happens all the time.  I pass through the dining
  35. room, notice the light is on, I turn it off and on
  36. my way back I find it on again.

  38. My husband says it is some kind of an electrical problem,
  39. however, when we moved in we had a master elctrician
  40. check out all the wirings and they are in good shape
  41. as far as we know.

  43. The first time it happened I freaked out because I
  44. thought someone had broken into our home.  But in
  45. subsequent occurances, it almost gives me a feeling
  46. "something is watching over the house".  It is a
  47. comfortable feeling.  Specially, when we get home
  48. late from work and it is dark outside, I can almost
  49. always bet that enough lights have been turned on.
  50. Our house is never in total darkness.
